Established in 1952, Prague Regional Memorial Hospital in Prague, Oklahoma is a 25-bed critical access hospital. With more than 70 years of tradition and excellence, we provide quality care to patients every day for the communities of Lincoln, Pottawatomie, Okfuskee, and Seminole counties. We offer a wide range of state-of-the-art, high-quality medical services that allow us to improve the health of the community we serve. We have outpatient and inpatient radiology, CT, lab, and physical therapy. We offer the Strong Mind Program – an outpatient Geri psych program for those 55 and older. We also have inpatient dialysis. Our patients and community benefit from high nurse-to-patient ratios, 24-hour emergency services, connections to higher levels of care when needed, and close-to-home care 365 days a year.

Cheryl Watts has had a career in healthcare for over 30 years with progressive leadership responsibilities. She started in a small clinic and continued to grow during her career.
During her healthcare career she has managed multiple clinics as well as started clinics from the ground up. She managed all aspects of the clinic and has since transitioned to a hospital setting. Watts is very excited to be working in the very hospital that she was born in and to be able to give back to her hometown.
Watts has experience in clinical, human resources, business, collections, billing and many other aspects of healthcare.
Outside of the office, Watts enjoys spending quality time with her family, reading and swimming. She loves to cheer for her favorite football team, OU!! Boomer Sooner!
Amanda Carpenter BSN, RN is an exceptional nurse known for working with heart, compassion, and teamwork. A proud graduate of Prague High School in 2005, Amanda has built a distinguished career marked by dedication to patient care and clinical excellence.
Amanda pursued an Associate's degree in Health Sciences from Seminole State College, graduating in 2009, and obtained LPN licensure from Gordon Cooper Technology Center in 2008. She further advanced her nursing education by attending The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in the LPN to BSN program.
Throughout her career, Amanda has accumulated a wealth of experience in various healthcare settings. She has served the community at Prague Family Clinic and Prague Regional Memorial Hospital in roles including family clinic nurse, medical surgical nurse, case manager, charge nurse, and nursing leadership. Her commitment to providing quality care extended to over seven years in home health and hospice work, where she cared for patients and families with compassion, competence and dedication.
From 2022 to 2024, Amanda dedicated herself to educating the next generation of nurses as a Practical Nursing Instructor at Gordon Cooper Technology Center. Her passion for teaching and mentoring has impacted many future healthcare professionals.
As the new Chief Clinical Officer at Prague Regional Memorial Hospital, Amanda brings a blend of clinical knowledge, heartfelt care, and strong leadership. She is committed to fostering a collaborative and patient-centered environment, ensuring the highest standards of care for the community.
Heather Brandwein has worked as a Nurse Practitioner in Family Practice Primary Care and Inpatient/Swing bed services for the last 6 years. She has advanced training in wound care and provides wound care services to her clinic patients, as well as our inpatients. Prior to obtaining her master’s degree and Nurse Practitioner licensure, Heather worked as an RN at Saint Francis Hospital in multiple settings including Trauma/Emergency, Medical/Surgical and Kidney Transplant. She was raised in Morris, Oklahoma and is passionate about providing quality care to rural communities. Heather currently lives in Tulsa with her wife, daughter and their two golden retrievers. She is a lover of learning, cooking, basketball and spending time with her family.
Wilkins is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Oklahoma City University. She then completed her Master of Science in Nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner, from Maryville University, St. Louis, MO. She then completed her post-Master of Acute Care Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, from Maryville University, St. Louis, MO.
